Inauguration of the Musée de la Romanité

After more than 3 years of construction works, the Musée de la Romanité de Nîmes opened its doors!

French Minister of Culture Françoise Nyssen was present in Nîmes this Saturday, June 2 to inaugurate the Museum along with Elizabeth de Portzamparc, Mr Jean-Paul Fournier, Mayor of Nîmes, Dominique Darde, curator of the museum, and other political figures.
The museum opened its doors to the public in the same day at 3:00 p.m. and welcomed for its first weekend 10,000 visitors!
